The Veritas Voice

Veritas Debate started out as the brainchild of two students in an entrepreneurship lesson, who, on the sidelines of the class, started discussing ideas for their very own venture. Call it the most elaborate practical application of a lesson, if you will. Tanmai and I discussed several ideas- a research journal, a student-led resource workshop and whatnot. However, the idea we could not resist, given it being a mutual interest and forte, was a debate organization. We wanted a platform where debaters like us could connect, compete, collaborate and share their ideas. And this was the perfect venture. Thus, Veritas came into being, an online debate organization that, up till now, hosted online debate competitions. However, with the desire to be an enduring organization, we are proud to announce The Veritas Voice.  The Veritas Voice is, in a literal sense, a blog, but in a figurative sense, a confluence of ideas—where students, debaters and coaches come together.
